Slide 10: Reported TB Cases by Race/Ethnicity, United States, 1997 and 1998. From 1997 to 1998, the total number of U.S. TB cases decreased by 7.5%. The number of cases decreased by 7.7% in non-Hispanic whites, nearly 12% in non-Hispanic blacks, and < 6% in Hispanics, Asian/Pacific Islanders and American Indians/Alaskan Natives.
