Audiotape on Pediatric TB

Pediatric Tuberculosis: An Audiotape for Clinicians is a new 1-hour program produced by the Francis J. Curry National TB Center (CNTC). Written and presented by Ann Loeffler, MD, the audiotape features Dr. Loeffler’s review of the top 10 myths in pediatric TB as well as her lively explanations of how to properly identify and treat TB infection and disease in children. Listeners may earn continuing medical education for participating in this activity. The audiotape program includes a printed listener’s guide that contains the main points from the audiotape, and reproducible forms that can be adapted or put into immediate use in a clinical practice.

The CNTC’s initial promotional plan included sending sample copies of the program and order forms to all state and big city TB controllers. To order, please call the CNTC at (415) 502-4600 or visit the Center’s Web site at www.nationaltbcenter.edu
