About Heartland
The vision of Heartland National TB Center is to be the most patient-conscious, professional healthcare organization focused on TB elimination. We pledge to support our public health and private partners to encourage use of safer, shorter, better tolerated TB treatment regimens, to eliminate stigma, and to decrease transmission of TB in our communities.
The mission of Heartland National TB Center is to collaborate with state, local, and public health partners to reduce the impact of TB. We will achieve this goal by: sharing our expertise through state-of-the art trainings addressing all aspects of TB, presenting cutting edge knowledge to public health and private providers to benefit patients and their communities, and designing innovative educational and consultative resources.
